My friend and I joined Ruth's Gentle Yoga class about one year ago. We are both in our late fifties.
The exercises while very gentle are effective and suitable for all age groups, the relaxation techniques are of enormous benefit in dispelling the stresses of the day.
Ruth is an excellent teacher and is very conscious of each class members level of fitness. As a result of the light stretching and posture exercises my aches and pains have totally disappeared

I was new to yoga when I starting going to Ruth’s beginners’ classes and I found them really great. These classes were the perfect level for someone new like me but without being too easy! I found Ruth’s classes to be a lovely blend of practicing yoga and also learning about it; Ruth made sure we knew the benefits and background to all of the poses. I left each class feeling refreshed, energized and ultimately more aware of myself, my body and my posture. I will definitely be signing up to do Ruth’s classes again in the future!
